CAMP BERKELEY

We are transforming 22 acres into a hands-on agriculture space where children can connect with nature in meaningful ways.

From planting and harvesting their own food, caring for the farm animals, exploring farm-to-table cooking and learning about sustainable living. Kids will gain practical skills, confidence and a deeper appreciation for where their food comes from.

Camp Berkeley is a place to get curious, get muddy and grow together!

COMING SOON TO 2027...

Organic Farming

Children will learn how food can be grown naturally without harmful chemicals, using healthy soil, composting, companion planting and respectful care of the land.

Agriculture

Through hands-on agricultural learning, children can plant seeds, tend gardens, harvest crops and explore how farms provide for families and communities.

Fish Hatchery

Children will discover how fish hatcheries support aquatic life by caring for fish eggs and young fish as they grow. They will learn about water quality, fish habitats, responsible animal care and the importance of protecting local waterways and ecosystems.

Farming Education

Providing kids with practical life skills while making it fun, active and meaningful. Children will tend to the farm animals, feed, harvest and open their own community shop to sell their products.

The Outdoor Academy acknowledges that we learn, live and play on the traditional and unceded territory of the Sto:lo peoples, including the Ts’elxweyeqw Tribe and other First Nations who have inhabited this land for generations. We recognize their enduring connection to this territory, and we honor the rich cultural heritage and history of the Sto:lo Nation.
